In the past Garnacha from Spain has been a full bodied, extracted, extended maceration, heavily oaked affair with little attention to regional expression. Not so the wines of Daniel Jimenez-Landi! Daniel prefers to work with old vine Grenache at high altitude employing a hands off approach in the winery with minimal extraction and access to oak. All of this results in wines of sheer elegance, purity and sophistication with crisp definition provided by the excellent acidity and minerality. This wine is packed with sweet, juicy fruit flavours that mask its latent power providing a refreshing, energised drinking experience that will keep you coming back again and again for another sip.
