‘Cora’ is made by the Mitjan family, who have been making wine here on their farm near Vilafranca for five generations. Most of the output is Cava, but they also some intriguing still wines, including this unusual blend of Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc and Xarel·lo grapes from organic vineyards situated at an altitude of 500-700 metres above sea level. The wine is left to macerate on its skins for 6 hours, giving an extra boost to the aromatics, whilst retaining a delicate freshness. The flavour spectrum runs from roses and honeysuckle to hazelnut and citrus.
