Pinot Noir 2015, Grace Bridge, California, USA

strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon
Described as the 'holy grail' ('the most rare wine in the world is good, proper Pinot Noir for under £15 a bottle') by leading wine writer Jancis Robinson, this is a soft, supple, charming Pinot Noir wine - super-drinkable with notes of ripe strawberry, black cherry and cinnamon. A blend from across Monterey and Sonoma County, matured in 225-litre old oak barrels. Supple with soft tannins, it shows the typically ripe fruit of California without being confected.
